HA configuration & management FG3000D FortiOS 5.6

Hello everybody,

I'm implementing FG3000D in my datacenter and I would like to form a cluster A-P in a custom VDOM called PROD-VDOM.

I dedicated 2 ports for HA and my cluster is up.

My interface MGMT1 is dedicated to management in the root VDOM and I access to my node with the IP address configured on it.

Now, I would like to know what is the difference between my physical port MGMT1 dedicated to mangement and a ha-reserved-interface.

I didn't configure any reserved-interface on my HA for the moment but could I have a problem ?

I would like to get Forti updates, NTP and so with my MGMT1 interface, is it possible with my current configuration ?
