HA cluster with 2 FortiVMs in transparent mode

Hi,

I would like to setup a HA cluster with 2 FortiVMs in transparent mode.

- the FortiVMs are running in a VMware NSX-V 6.4.4 environment

- I have already set up a cluster in NAT mode

However if change mode to transparent mode I see the risk of a loop:

- in the NSX environment there is no spanning tree

- is it possible to generate a broadcast storm with the FortiVMs in transparent mode, connected to the same networks inside and outside ?

- I also need to consider a split brain situation where the cluster is out of sync

Does anyone have experience with this setup?
