HA Cluster Upgrade Attempt error: "Get image from ha master OK. Check image file integrity error!"

Hi,

I am attempting to upgrade my HA firewall by following these KBs:

FortiGate HA upgrade procedure and the st... - Fortinet Community

How to upgrade FortiGate firmware - Fortinet Community

However, the upgraded did not pushed through and I am seeing this error on the secondary firewall:

Get image from ha master OK. Check image file integrity error!

I already tried to check if this is the correct image file from the support site and was able to confirm that this is okay.

What is causing this issue? Anything that I should do to successfully upgrade the HA cluster?

Thank you!

It seems that you are using File Upload on your upgrade.
Possible that MD5 hash/checksum is incorrect or corrupted.
I strongly suggest to re-download and check MD5 checksum

You may also use direct download from FortiGuard/FortiCloud server (All Upgrades tab).
Just note of below known issue when using follow upgrade path via GUI

Thank you for your reply.

MD5 Checksum is same with what I got and the ones in the support site.

I hope you can provide other things should be considered for this to work.

Thank you!
