HA and DSL

Out of interest, has anyone ever configured a HA pair for Fortigates with a single DSL line?

 

Is the DSL port in a 60E DSL totally inactive when in HA slave mode, if you just split the phone line to each node???

 

I've not tried - just interested if anyone had.
