h.323 and Polycom

I am not sure if this is the correct forum, but I'll try here first.

We use Polycom devices at a number of our clinics.  These clinics have Fortigate 60x and 90x units.  I am using VIP groups to allow specific ports to come in for the Polycom.  We experience "lag" with video and audio on these devices.  The clinics have plenty of bandwidth and that is not an issue.  Does anyone know if there are particular configurations or recommendations for h.323 devices?  On the Polycom units, I have "firewall is h.323 aware" disabled.
