Google Sites - So frustrating, Trying to block certain sites, yet allow legit sites.

Can you please let us know how you are blocking the websites?

You can block websites by using a static URL in the URL filter. For example, you can specify the URL directly in the URL filter.

URL - *sites.google*
Type - Wildcard
Action - Block
Status - Enable

You can review the webfilter logs to verify whether the site was blocked.

If it's still accessible, try switching the inspection mode to proxy mode in the firewall policy, then test in incognito mode.
