Google Hangouts logs

Hi

We've blocked instant messaging on our Fortigate200E one of those is Google Hangouts. When we check the reported daily logs it shows that most of the block access is hangouts. How can I tell if these users are trying to access hangouts even if it is block or their pc is automatically connecting to hangouts? Please see report screenshot.
