Hi

We have fortiweb 1000D and upgrade firmware to 5.6.1

we want to archive local log(Store in fortiweb internal hard disk) in remote Site

in this version fortiweb add ftp/tftp Policy in Log & report menu but when create ftp we do not assign it for any kind of log

and we can use ftp policy only for archive config log

I want to find best solution for archive all log in remote host?

we do not have fortianalyzer

thanks

My understanding is that the FTP/TFTP  option is only used for reports.

If you goto Log & Report > Report > Report Config you can see the FTP/TFTP option can be selected as an output type.

In the Log Options I can't see any FTP/TFP option.

I'd recommend using syslog to send logs to an external server if you'd like to have a backup off the box.

yes, it seems ftp use anly for WAF config (it is very bad, Almost all security device have Ftp to archive log).

we have a lot of log on fortiweb hard disk and we want to send them to remote host

witch method is better you think?

    thanks
