From VDOM to Normal FW

Hi

We have Fortigate 800C and it is was configured with many VDOMs in the past .

We've deleted all of them and stayed only with one VDOM .

We need only this specific VDOM , and we don't need it to be configured as a 'VDOM' but as a normal firewall .

I was wondering if there is an option to move the configuration of this VDOM to a normal firewall .

Please advise .

Hi,

yes, of course.

Just make sure that everything is deleted from the old VDOMs, then delete the VDOMs that are not needed anymore, and then disable the VDOM mode.
