FortiWiFi 90D update

Hello my device is FortiWiFi 90D, Firmware v5.0,Build0290(GA Patch 9)

my question is.

1. when download firmware, I can not select product FortiWiFi. should I select Fortigate?

2. what version is my device? 5.0.9 or 5.0.0?

3. what is my upgrade path?

4. how can I download old image?

 

root cause: when I config in webadmin, page will crash or not apply actually.

If I enable web portal, and config listen port, then I should can access web portal right?

but I can, so I consider this is function problem.

-- Yes - then choose FWF90D

2. what version is my device? 5.0.9 or 5.0.0?

-- Not sure - 5.0.9 is 0292 - check it on the Gui

 3. what is my upgrade path?

-- It depends - to which version? go to support.fortinet.com and check te upgrade path from your version to the version you d'like to upgrade (there is a Button upgrade path)

4. how can I download old image?

-- support.fortinet.com

can you help to clear what version I am in ?

can I just try to update then system will prompt me wrong firmware?

If there is any hints can forward me to destination, please let me know.

Hi Scott Your Version is indeed 5.0.9 - now it depends where you want to go. As on the support site it's only from 5.2.9, I've found this article, this one should be helpfull.

Upgrade path to 5.2.x

https://cookbook.fortinet.com/sysadmins-notebook/supported-upgrade-paths-fortios/2/

Basically you have to do:

5.0.9292>>5.0.11>>5.0.14>>5.2.13

 

From there, if you wish to go further, you can use the upgrade path on the support site.
