Fortiweb Access to internal server without Login

Hello all,

how can i access from outside over fortiweb to an internal web server without input of Login Details?

We have an internal ADFS Server for Changing Passwords for the User.

The User needs access to this internal Server from outside without any Logins.

Is that possible?

Many thanksTBC

Hi TBC,

Thank you for these precisions.

I get an answer from one of our FortiWeb expert :):

If the web page that customer has hosted does not need authorization, an simple server policy would do. FortiWEB will prompt authentication only if site publish or http authentication is configured on FortiWEB.

If its a specific URL that doesnt need authentication, and if they already have authentication configured on FortiWEB for different URL like OWA, but both hosted on same server, then they can configure URL access rule to bypass the specific URL that doesnt need authentication.

I hope it will help :)!

Do not hesitate to come back to us if needed.

Hello Anthony,

thank you very much for the answer.
I have already read the page.

I have expressed myself a little misleading.
Furthermore, I am looking for a solution to access websites / servers without any authorization / login.
ADFS is only one of our sites that does not require authorization, but we still have info pages where a login is not necessary.
For example, if I call the forum here, then in the first moment no login is necessary. Shouldn't the same be possible with Fortiweb?

Many thanks

GM Anthony,

many thanks!

We using FortiWeb-VM 7.01,build0081(GA),220422.

In front of Fortiweb we're having Fortigate also the latest version.

For some Webserver we don't need a Login like our internal Wiki or Info page, that one is only visible from internal LAN or from our Company LAN but not from the Internet.

From the internet we only have one site without Login, all other Internet Sites we need Login first wish is already up and running.

If you wish, I can give you a try to see what I mean, but for that one I can't post the information here in the Forum.

Wish you a nice day.

TBC
