FortiToken Transfer from FortiGate to FortiAuthenticator

Hello everyone,

I know that Fortinet previously removed the possibility to transfer FortiToken licenses from one FortiGate to another FortiGate.

I would like to know if it is still possible to transfer FortiTokens from a FortiGate to FortiAuthenticator now. Has anyone done this recently ?

Unfortunately the tech tip says from any to any (FGT/FAC).

FortiToken Mobile licenses shipped on or after August 4, 2025 are not transferable from one FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator device to another.
