FortiSSLVPNclient.exe not working properly

HI,

 

I'm facing a peculiar problem regarding a tool for FortiClient - FortiSSLVPNclient.exe which can be found on FortiClientTools in folder SSLVPNcmdline.

The problem only occurs in versions 7.X.

The issue is that if i try to connect using the FortiSSLVPNclient.exe it appears as connect, but no routes are passed to the computer. Also, if i open FortiClient GUI it appears if no connection is made.

Anyone can help me with this ?

Hi,

 

Is that version 7.0.0345 on the client and 7.0.6 on FortiGate?

Hi Jin,
So this problem occurs with any version of the 7.X (client).
The version of FortiGate which is trying to connect i don't know since we use this primarily to connect to our clients.
But if we use the Forticlient GUI to connect, no issue with the version 7.X.
This only occurs with the FortiSSLVPNclient.exe, with the same connection.

Hi,

 

I just tested with FortiSSLVPNclient.exe with FCT 7.0.7.

It is able to connect to VPN.

FGT GUI also should respond with "VPN connected" status.

Do you mean that in FCT GUI, it is still not showing any VPN connection?
By any chance is the FGT using client cert authentication?
