I am having an issue wherein I am getting too many failed logins for Fortiportal. I have tried to login using multiple accounts as well as the spuser but it wont let us access the system.

I can CLI access the system using the admin account but cannot seem to access via the GUI using the spuser account.

Is there a way to change the password of spuser using CLI?

Has anyone changed the login on the FortiPortal from local to remote/SAML? Ifso then the spuser may not work anymore.

 

One way to test is to login using the url https://<fpc-ip>/fpc/app/admin and try the spuser credentials there. This will force a local login even if you have remote authentication enabled.
