Fortinet AP Downlink Disabled

I have a Fortinet AP832i (firmware 8.0-SR1-2).  The [link=https://imgur.com/a/9V3Iy40]downlink (LAN) port Admin state is UP[/link] but the Operational state is Disabled.  I would like to enable this port for use but simply plugging in an ethernet cable doesn't enable the port.  I've tried SSH/telnet to the device but that doesn't work.  The AP is managed on a FortiWLC-200D running 8.0-SR1-2.  If anyone has ideas I'd love to hear them?
