Hi Guys,

We have two sites connected together but we want to have two guest portals so that we can get a user from each site to approve the requests.

Currently it is setup as one guest portal.

Any guides or help to achieve this?

We are on FortiNAC 7.6.2.0715 (GA)

Thanks

John

Hello @jbrines

As mentioned by @AEK the same portal policy is also available in FNAC-F.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortinac-f/7.6.0/administration-guide/567487/portal-policy

You can segregate the traffic based on users/host profile and then match the portal. There could be multiple policies, but the first one that matches will be applied.

regards,

Sheikh

I never used it before but I remember the portal policy feature was in FortiNAC version 9.x, but I don't know if it still exist on FortiNAC-F 7.x.

https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortinac/9.4.0/administration-guide/567487/portal-policy

Hope it helps.

What is the difference between FortiNAC 9 and 7?

Should I move to 9?

No you should not move.

  • FortiNAC (9.x) is the old Fortinet NAC solution (should be end of life soon)
  • FortiNAC-F (7.x) is the new Fortinet NAC solution
