FortiNAC-F upgrade

Hello everyone,

I'm used to upgrade Fortinet products from the GUI, the usual steps, download the image from support.fortinet.com then upload it on the GUI.

Apparently FortiNAC is a different story, I would appreciate any guidance on this.

I'm trying to upgrade from version 7.2.7 to 7.6.4.

I tried following the steps of the article you sent. I would like to know if I have to fill this part.

Cause when I dont and click "Download", I get this error.

For upgrading to 7.6, the required fields are as follows:

The password must be requested through a TAC support ticket.

I've done the upgrade. Had to contact customer support to give me the approriate credentials for the upgrade.

Same procedure can be applied on setups running 7.6.3+, some details are shown here: Technical Tip: Firmware upgrade for setups running v7.6.3 or newer, the firmware is up to date

Yes, exactly. On the newer version of FNAC, you do the upgrade like the other Fortinet products, but on the older versions (7.2x in my case), you have to contact customer service so they give you the credentials, as mentionned in this article https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortinac-f/7.2.0/manager-guide/162897/system-update
