FortiNAC-F Compatibility with Aruba, TP-Link, Sophos, and UniFi Devices

Hello everyone,

Can anyone confirm whether FortiNAC-F fully supports (or has been successfully integrated) with the following:

  • Aruba 1930 switches
  • TP-Link TL-SG1016PE switches
  • Sophos AP55C access points
  • UniFi U6 Mesh Pro access points

Specifically, I’m interested in understanding:

  • Level of support (CLI/SNMP/API… etc)
  • Visibility and control capabilities (profiling, enforcement, VLAN assignment, etc.)
  • Any known limitations or required workarounds

I can confirm that FortiNAC already support those vendors.

Once the device is successfully integrated through CLI, SNMP, or REST API (when supported by the device), FortiNAC gains both visibility and control capabilities, enabling features such as device profiling, policy enforcement, compliance validation, dynamic VLAN assignment, and other automated network access control functions.

Hi,FortiNAC fully supports Aruba 1930 switches and Ubiquiti Access Points.

FortiNAC also supports several TP-Link switch models, including the TL-SG2428P etc. For the TL-SG1016PE, it would be helpful to obtain the device SNMP OID to verify support and determine the most appropriate integration profile.

In addition, several Sophos Access Point models are supported. While the device OID is the preferred method for confirming support, integration may also work with similar models that share the same SNMP implementation and FortiNAC integration profile.

For further assistance and device compatibility verification, please contact your Fortinet Sales Representative or open a TAC case with the relevant device details, including the model number and SNMP OID.

    Thank you for your answer.

     

    Unfortunately, I can’t open a TAC case because I don’t own a FortiNAC yet, it is to check the compatibility with the environment to see if it’s possible to integrate Fortinac with the exisiting infrastructure devices.
