Fortimanager trial with Forticloud login

When trying to login to our Fortimanager trial version with a Forticloud account I get:
Response validation failed. SAML response rejected

 

I followed the outline of document and verified I have the right permissions and am using an IAM account in the same tenant.

This feature should work, even with a trial license right?

FMG cloud is same as FMG on-prem, you just cannot control the software upgrades of it.
The cloud team stages the upgrades and then you can choose to upgrade, however their upgrades are ~ 1 month after software is released.

Thanks mafnadeda but that's not what I'm asking. I would like to login with a Forticloud account to my on-prem Fortimanager but get an error message "Response validation failed. SAML response rejected". I would like to know if this should work or if this is a limitation of Fortimanager trial.
