FortiManager & Fortinet FW

Hi Everyone,

 

My firewall  & fortimanager right now is running firmware version 5.7. I would like to know if am going to upgrade my firewall to version 5.4.5 which firmware can i upgrade to my fortimanager to be able to compatible with the fortigate. I see that the latest firmware for fortimanager 5.4.3.

 

Also i would like to know if fortinet firewall need to have one image path higher than fortimanager or vise versa.

    Hi Silver,

     

    There's a FortiManager supported versions matrix available at the docs site here: http://docs.fortinet.com/uploaded/files/2902/fortimanager-compatibility.pdf

     

    As per the doc, upgrading your FortiManager to 5.4.3 will support FortiGates running 5.4.5.

     

    As always, you should upgrade your FMG before FGTs.
