FortiManager boot loader attempt to transfer firmware via TFTP

I've been trying to transfer the FMG appliance firmware via TFTP in the boot loader, but hitting a road block with "Return to BIOS menu." when attempting to initiate the transfer. Backup firmware returns empty unfortunately. So long as I could resolve that return to BIOS, I'm pretty much golden.

hm never had that. Did have cases where TFTP failed because of wrong parameters or so but the bootloader here at least always tried to start the transfer. This looks strange shomehow...

DId you configure the TFTP Parameters correctly?

    Yep, TFTP parameters are correct. Just that this particular FMG wants me to go to BIOS, which is password-protected from the factory, to proceed with the transfer.
