Fortimanager API- running CLI commands against managed devices

I have been looking through the Fortimanager API documentation and there is a section mentioning running CLI commands against managed devices: https://how-to-fortimanager-api.readthedocs.io/en/latest/007_device_management/007_device_management.html#how-to-run-cli-commands-against-a-managed-device

However, there is a warning message saying it is not yet supported and 'Caught in #1155085, #1072897 and #1133627.' I have tried it myself and get the same result as the example, so it definitely isn't working at the moment.

I'm wondering if there is anywhere we can see where the progress of this is at- I have tried searching those aforementioned numbers which I assume are case tickets, but haven't found anything. It would be useful to have a timeframe on when this functionality might be made available.

Currently there is no ETA for this feature, its only an internal FMG request and cannot be used from outside e.g. using cURL or Postman.

Many thanks for clarifying. Just to add around the 'readthedocs.io' information found not being an official document, it was linked by https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiManager/Technical-Tip-Using-FortiManager-API/ta-p/221089 as a related document at the bottom so I assumed it had been published by Fortinet.
