Fortimail and not Visible Quarantine Email

Hello,

 

we have some Emails in our Quarantine, but this Emails are invisible,

if i search the Email in the Logs, i see the Emails "System Quarantine;Notification"

in the Session ID i see a loot of Error

-"Milter (mailfilterd): timeout before data read, where=eom"

-"UriExpander: Broken pipe while connecting to ...."

-"MilterTask: endOfMessage: MediaException( 4099 ) , FileMediaImpl.cpp:170, 'Could Not open /var/spool/tmp/mailfilterd_bqwri1571.2909199168'BQueueWriter::write( 4 ) , QueueEntryWriter.cpp:513, MilterException( 4 ) , SessionFinalize.cpp:2443, '26BAnfMh017751-26BAnfMj017751'"

 

The User got the Quarantine Message, but i cannot find the Email in the Quarantine,

we have no problems with our Emails, only this with this

 

i hope somebody can help me

Hi

I'm not certain but this looks like a bug in your FortiMail.

Applying the latest patch should be a good idea. If it doesn't help then open a ticket.

Hello Alexander,

 

were you able to fix this issue? We are seeing the exact same error messages with some emails on a FortiMail unit.

Honestly, there are two possible answers.

 

First, there may be a bug during the initial setup of the fortimail that delete the mails on personal quarantine.

Second, the user received a quarantine report and deleted the email and you are unable to get it back.
