FortiGuard Web Filter Question

Hi All,

Quick question, do the FortiGuard web filter categories also contain blocked search terms? Or do we have to enter blocked search terms manually into web policies?

Hi @manielebo, 

 

By default, Web Filter only blocks/allows websites based on URL categories. You can configure Content Filter in the Web Filter profile to block specific words. If you are using proxy based profile, you can also Enforce 'Safe Search' on Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Yandex.
