FortiGuard 'set source-ip x.x.x.x' on FortiGate v5.0

Dear all

 

May i know it is fortigate v5.0 haven't the option when configure fortiguard , due to we want to use loopback interface for fortiguard IPS update , thanks

fortigate (global) # config system fortiguard fortigate (fortiguard) # set source-ip command parse error before 'source-ip' Command fail. Return code -61

    Hi Mike,

     

    It is difficult to guess with the limited information available here but will take a shot.

    I see you are using VDOM's on your Fortigate.  Fortiguard communications always originate from the configured management VDOM.  This is {root} vdom by default but can be changed.  Ensure that the IP address you are trying to configure in the source-ip command exists as an interface IP on the management VDOM.

     

    This is my best guess as to why it is not working.  Other than that the command is just.

    set source-ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx {<class_ip>    Class A,B,C ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx}
