FortiGate VM08 – Limit on FortiSwitches managed via FortiLink?

Question

I have 205 switches (version 7.4.3 )registered on a FortiGate VM08 (version 7.4.5 ), which is itself registered on a FortiManager (version 7.4.7). However, only 69 switches are properly synchronized and managed through both the FortiGate and the FortiManager. The others are not receiving the configuration via the FortiGate. Could the issue be that the FortiGate VM08 can only actively manage a limited number of switches (for example, 69 or 96 maximum) through FortiLink?

I'm looking for confirmation from TAC or documentation reference if possible.Thank you!

Hi imen,

The maximum number of supported FortiSwitch units depends on the FortiGate model:

For a FortiGate-VM08, the maximum Number of FortiSwitch Units Supported is 300.
