Fortigate VM upgrade with license

Hi Team!

I was upgrading my Fortigate VM from version 5.4.4 to version 5.6.2. The upgrade seemed to work succesfully but at the time of entering via web GUI, it asks me to log in permanently. However, it lets me enter using ssh or using the cli of vmware. Sometines when I try to log in it tells me that the license is being validated but it lasted more than one hour so it starts to worry me.

When I enter the command get system status it shows me that the license status is pending. Is it normal this behaviour?

Hi,

It is necessary to ensure that the VM has access to the Internet and that it has access to:

update.fortiguard.net (Package updates: AV/IPS TCP 443)

service.fortiguard.net (Live queries: WF/AS UDP 53 or 8888)

If the "execute update-now" command does not solve your problem, you need to debug:

diagnosis debug application update -1
diagnosis debug enable
execute update-now
