Fortigate VM on eve-ng with SSL VPN

I cannot connect SSL VPN with forticlient on EVE-NG.

What's happened?

I tried to change ssl-max and ssl-min protocol but it's the same.

Hi cybernet2025

 

Please run below commands on FGT if you still have issues and share output:

 

>connect to your fortigate, execute the below commands and then initiate the connection via Forticlient


diag debug reset
di vpn ssl debug-filter src-addr4 x.x.x.x <----public IP of client
diag debug application fnbamd -1
diag debug appl sslvpn -1
diag debug enable

connect FCT now. post connection is successful, stop debug

diag debug disable

    If I used fortigateVM image, forticlient cannot connect to FGVM, but if I used fortiOS image the forticlient can access to the fortigate.

    I think it's a license issue. maybe

    I need you idea. Thanks in advance.

    Hi Cybernet2025,

    I don't think it would be a license issue. As SSL VPN doesn't not require any license to connect to the firewall. 

    It would be helpful if you could share the command line output from the fortigate CLI which my colleague  has posted previously in the Forum
