FortiGate to FortiManager VRF Source IP

Does FortiGate support specifying that the FortiGate to FortiManager communication goes over a specific VRF, or is it only supported via a Default VRF?

Usually you would enable the administrative access on the FortiGate for FMG, FGFM, for a interface/vlan in the same VRF as FortiManager so I think this would be possible, or having a static route to FMG within the VRF if they arent in the same L2 domain.
