Question

FORTIGATE - SD-WAN - LINK STATUS - CHECK INTERVAL.

Hello gentlemen.

I am studying FORTIGATE and doing an SD-WAN laboratory i came across PERFORMANCE SLA where i have the LINK> STATUS> CHECK INTERVAL field.

Reading the administrator guide i saw that the value added in this field (in seconds) is the time that the internet links connected to the SD-WAN member interfaces will be monitored. Got it right?

I ask why in some documentation i have seen high values in this field, such as 300 or 500 seconds. If this field is the interval in seconds that FORTIGATE checks the link, i could not logically set a value other than one in this field.

Thank you.

Not sure but I think you're looking for this:

    https://docs.fortinet.com/document/fortigate/6.2.0/fortios-release-notes/334309/changes-in-default-values

in previous releases it was in "seconds"

from 6.2.0 it is in "milliseconds"
