Fortigate - Quickly create a firewall policy from traffic log

Okay, I see, I found this solution, however, does it help you?

 

To quickly create a firewall policy from a traffic log in FortiGate v7.6.0, follow these steps:

  1. Access FortiView Sources: Navigate to the FortiView Sources or the Log Viewer in the FortiGate GUI.

  2. Select Entry: Double-click on the desired source entry to view its details.

  3. Drill Down: Click on the "Drill down" option to explore further details.

  4. Choose Destination: Go to the Destination tab and select a destination entry.

  5. Create Policy: Right-click on the Destination Address and select "Create policy" > "Create firewall policy by IP address."

  6. Policy Creation: A new page will open for creating a new firewall policy. Some fields will be auto-filled based on the log data. Complete the remaining fields as needed.

  7. Finalize: Click the 'OK' button to finalize and create the policy.

A confirmation pop-up will appear indicating that the firewall policy has been successfully created.
