FortiGate log source IP hostname resolution

Hi all,

we have a new FortiGate 600E with the Firmware v7.0.6.

We configured the "Resolve Hostnames" setting in the Log settings.

Now we saw that only the destination ips are getting resolved. Is there any option that we see the hostnames of the source addresses?

We have the internal DNS server configured.

any ideas?

thanks for your reply.

I had a call with my partner and it looks like that in the new version the hostname moved into an extra column. Destination Hostname is still in the column of the ip address.
