HI Sajjad

I think your FGT can't contact FortiGuard servers.

IS it connected to Internet?

Does it have two IP addresses on the WAN port?

Greetings!

To verify the license status, the FortiGate needs to connect to the FortiGuard server.

For that first check the Internet connectivity.

Then make sure that the FortiGate has proper DNS settings so that FortiGate can resolve FQDN.

Afterwards follow this document to troubleshoot the fortiguard connection issue, https://community.fortinet.com/t5/FortiGate/Troubleshooting-Tip-Unable-to-connect-to-FortiGuard-servers/ta-p/226149

Regards!

Hi @SajjadMousavi ,

First of all, it is FortiGate, not Fortogate.

It is showing "Pending", which means this FGT has an issue talking to the FortiGuard servers to verify your license status.

Can you confirm that this FGT has Internet access?

If it does, please run the following commands:

diag debug application update -1

diag debug enable

execute update-now

Then wait for the outputs until you see "Update Successfully" or something with failed message.

hi,

is this a new device? were you able to connect the device to internet/fortiguard?

you can also check for active license in fortimanager: device manager > device & groups > select device > dashboard summary > license information (icon in green are active licenses)
