Fortigate IPS DB Update

Hi,

I try to configure an automation stitch with this event:

However, I can't understand why the event never gets triggered. Even on the system event logs I never find anything related to IPS db updates .. does anyone know why?
Maybe because I only have the IPS license and not antivirus?

Hi,

 

Can you run the command "# execute update-ips" and see that automation is triggered ?

With this command the automation is triggered.. but with the automatic updates??

Glad to hear that the automation is triggered after executing the commands.

How frequently that you have configured "Scheduled updates" for IPS ? The update should be based on these schedule settings.

 

The following commands will provide more information about the schedule update status.

 

#  get system auto-update status

#  diagnose autoupdate versions
