Fortigate connectivity to Fortimanger via Firewall policy

We are tying to get data flowing from Fortigate to Fortimanager via firewall rules.

This is because the Fortigate 1500D, The FM can see the device but its Amber so it can not get the data through.

Is there something extra the needs to be done to enable FM to see the FG data?

Is the port/service allowed for FMG to access the FGT?

Also on the "target" FGT no policy is needed because the traffic terminates on the FGT.

Because the 1500D under security fabric doesn't show Manager option, I have added a firewall rule to allow traffic to the FM via the required ports.

Is there something on the FM that needs to be configured? Because I can see the FG under the manage devices but it amber in colour.
