fortigate CLI console shows connection failed

we were doing some troublesooting on our fortigate firewall cli console.

did some debug commands and suddenly the console shows (Connection failed.)

although i can still ssh into the firewall but, the cli console cannot be accessed.

how do i enable it back ?
