Fortigate can't generate report

Hello,

I have a Fortigate 5.0.9, it has never generate a report. I tried to use the CLI command: "execute report recreate-db" and after "execute report run" it gives me an empty report! please can anybody help me?

Hi ,

 

For the reporting on the fortigate we need to make sure the disk logging is enabled.

 

You can verify these commands

 

config log disk setting

set status enable

set log-quota 1000  //allocation disk space in MB

end

And under Log Settings enable local reports.

 

Also enabling the reporting and disk logging on the fortigate could cause cpu and memory utilization to spike, you can use forticlould or fortianalyzer for the reporting and logging.

I am also getting empty reports. The only data in the daily reports is admin and VPN logins. Zero bandwidth or anything else. Yes, logging is enabled.
