Fortigate backup tftp source ip issue

Hello  ,

I think there is no source-ip on backup tftp like link above. 

We want to get a config backup with tftp from the FortiGate device in the remote location.

there is MPLS between fortigates. 

 

Fortigate tftp default settings for  source ip address is egress interface ip address, and because we can not change it, file transfer with tftp fails.

How can we solve this problem?

    Hi,

     

    "exe backup config tftp/ftp" command can backup config to tftp/ftp server from management vdom.

    This is FGT local out traffic and source IP can not be edited now.

    In your case, you need make ip reachable between tftp client(FGT) and server.
