FortiGate and FortiManager Version

Hi All, 

 

Requesting suggestion for version upgrade on Fortigate FW (Integrated with FortiManager)

 

Current Version on Fortigate FW :  v6.0.6 build6325 (GA)

 

Current Version on FortiManager :  v6.2.3 GA build1235

 

pls suggest the latest & stable version which is compatible for each of the devices (in Integration prospect also).

Hello jsr,

 

Upgrade decision pretty much depends on what kind of new features you are looking for, if any. If nothing special, you might see what resolved issues or known issues there are in either 6.2.10, 6.4.8 or 7.0.2 on either version.

To consider: If you upgrade over branches, you might have less upgrade windows in total.

If you are to set up the environment still, I'd recommend the latest firmware, so you can work with all the features in the later versions.
