Hello On the support website, the recommended upgrade path for FortiGate 90D is from 5.6.3 to 6.0.1.
But my FGT suggest me to upgrade to 5.6.5.
Does anyone had any experience with that upgrade?
Should I go and upgrade manually from 5.6.3 to 6.0.1 or use the automatic upgrade from 5.6.3 to 5.6.5 and then to 6.0.1?

According to Fortinet Support Upgrade path Tool:
Recommended Upgrade Path Version Build Number 5.6.3 1547 6.0.1 0131
BUT !!!!
If i were you i would rather prefer to go first to latest 5.6 , and then jump to next generation.
Additionally it is recomended:
1. To review first the release notes.
2. Have the current FortiOS available just in case of downgrade
3. Backup config after upgrade , because in case of downgrade you need according config.
PS: Have in mind that after upgrade there is one active partition with the new FortiOS and the new config BUT also a second partition with the previous FortiOS along with its config so you can select it in case of NOGO !!
