Hi Guys,

I have question for 81F.

I will be using it for internal network firewall.

It have shared media ports  SFP and Ethernet, does it mean i can use SFP to connect with SFP port of interconnecting switch?

Regards

    Hi,

    and welcome to the forums.

Yes, the shared media ports are 2 physical ports for 1 logical port. You can either use the TP port or the SFP port, for a fiber connection to a switch. A link on one disables the other.

BTW, the ports are labelled but you can use them in any way you like. The "wan1" port could be used for WAN or LAN or DMZ, for instance.
