Fortigate 60D no status light

I was given an old Fortigate 60D from work and have been trying to get it working for home use.When I plug it in the power light turns on but the status light stays off. When I try to access it from fortiexplorer through the miniusb port I get no connection with web or cli. Trying to log in with the set up wizard just says wrong password. I've tried resetting it through the small hole button but nothing changes. Any help would be appreciated
