FortiGate 1000C Slow speed internet over wifi

Hi 

 

I am facing problem on my network "FortiGate 1000C" installed ,internet is ok for lan users but Slow speed browsing and disconnection for wifi users .

Need more information. What kinda of wireless devices are providing the wireless? how is it deployed? do you have traffic shaping? etc etc

FortiAPâ„¢-221B/223B Wireless Access Point are providing the wireless to all users ,using different shapers and at this time 7 ssid are working for different end users

Hi Imran,

 

Try to set mss adjustment on the policy with source "wifi users" to Internet

you can set it via cli

edit "policy id"

set tcp-mss-sender 1400 set tcp-mss-receiver 1400

next

end

 

i use 1380 to 1400 and normaly is working fine

Yeah, I use 1366 as the sweet spot when I have traffic that is going over tunnels etc.

I didn't apply these .but i fixed my problem by doing the following steps

in fortiap profiles i created a new profile by deactivating one of the radio like i deactivated radio 1 and activated only radio two and entered the desired the ssid after that i applied it on one of the access point (Fortinet FortiAP 223B ) after that this AP is working fine and end user using this access point arenot facing slow speed issue
