ForticlientEMS not clearing log files 6.2.0 build 0727

I noticed our EMS server has close to 40GB of log files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Fortinet\FortiClientEMS. It's set to clear logs, alerts, and events older than 30 days but some of these files go back almost a year... Clicking "Clear Now" doesn't delete them either. Is it safe to manually delete some of these log files? Thanks,
