FortiClient : VPN doesn't reconnect after sleep / hibernate

Hi !

 

I'm facing a strange issue with FortiClient (7.0.5). When my computer goes to sleep / hibernate, the VPN doesn't reconnect automatically.

 

I have the keep_running and autoconnect_tunnel set to 1.

 

As I can see, when I turned my computer to sleep, the tunnel is disconnected "before" and I suspected this is why the tunnel doesn't reconnect automatically.

 

Someone as a solution ?

me too, same problem, with MacBook Pro M1 Pro

Hi !

 

Apparently it's a bug (answer received from FortiNet support). But I need more explanations. 


And as I can seen it's seems to work better if your EMS telemetry is reachable trough internet
