I am having a problem when I VPN into my network with the forticlient. I get an IP address and subnet mask, however I do not get a gateway. Does any one know if that is configuration issue or is that how the forticlient functions?

Actually, FortiClient' s virtual adapter is the gateway. You can not have another gateway for the tunnel. All trafic needs to be manually routed by the software.

Perhaps unnecessary explanation. The manual routing Vanc is talking about, there' s no need to config your PC with manual routes. All the traffic will flow ' automatically' through the tunnel that is defined in the FC config, remote network(s). Regards, Eric
