Forticlient VPN 7.0.0083 stops at 98% on connect and crashes computer

Good morning, 

 

The latest Forticlient vpn from August 10th(7.0.0083), is causing bsod on connection attempts at the 98% mark.  I have tried some older forum solutions from back around version 5.56 but none are working. Any thoughts in this case?

 

Computer is windows 10 v21H1.

    i have the same issue on one PC. Do you have a solution about the problem?

    Not sure, this seems not to be the latest client. You should try upgrading to 7.0.2 (yours is 7.0.1).

    Hi Markus_M,

     

    i have updated the client with this issue to Version 7.0.2 but it is the same problem.

    Same here, same issue w/ v5.x, 6.x, and 7.x. All devices get to 98% and BSOD computer. HP laptop, W10 Pro, v21H2, build 19044.1415. Same results with different user, or remote network.
