FortiClient VPN 7.0.0 MasOS BigSur loosing preshared key after restart

Hi there!

I have installed the current FortiClientVPN_7.0.0.22_OnlineInstaller.dmg on MacOS BigSur in an M1 based system and once a connection is configured it works fine. Only after restarting the Client every time is reports that the preshared key is wrong, so I have to enter it again. The key is saved in the connection but it application seems to get it wrong after restart, maybe because of the use of special characters like §$#@&%!?. 

 

Has anyone similar experience and can suggest a solution for this issue?

    I could verify this behaviour when an € is part of the key. Using this character does not work for the FortiClient.
