Forticlient version 7.4.2.1737

Good morning,

 

First of all, I introduce myself: I belong to IT service in MN8Energy. We use Forticlient to connect with external services since many years. Act

 

 

We have got installed many Forticlient version 7.4.2.1737, but this version will expire this summer. We have tried version 7.4.3.8758, but it doesn't work properly, and additionally, it suffers a vulnerability described at CVE-2025-62676.

 

Is there any new version without that vulnerability and fully operational?

 

Is there any other option?

hello,

you can download the FCT version for 7.4.3 with the hotfix - 7.4.3.1.8758 from support portal.

the download of the VPN only version is available if you have a product registered and a valid support contract for it.

otherwise, if you need to upgrade to 7.4.4+ you would need a EMS license since starting with that version there's no more VPN only available.

Hi, thanks, funkylicious. That is the last version we have, but it is giving us some issues, and, additionally, it does have a vulnerability. That is the reason I asked for another one. I think we don't have EMS license, I'm afraid.

As PSIRT page describe, only option for FortiClient VPN now is to go to 7.2.13 or 7.2.14, which can be downloaded from the download page at the support site.

Thanks, Toshi_Esumi. However, 7.2.13 or 7.2.14 are lower versions than 7.4.2.1737, so their support period should be expired, right?

Another question, please, could you share the link for the downloading? I am new in this support page, and I am unable to find the download page. Your help is much appreciated. Thanks
