Forticlient processes hogging resources

Wondering about certain forticlient processes, trying to understand them better and seeing how we can configure the Forticlient to minimize workstation impact.

There are two services running that use higher resources then most:

fortisniff2.sys

and 

fortifws

Can someone shed light on what these are and how we can reconfigure to minimize impact please?
